Building from Scratch: Optimizing a B2B Blog to 15K Monthly Visits

The client’s B2B blog (espacioerp.com) faced a critical challenge: a poor technical foundation and stagnant organic growth. The platform was underperforming, failing to establish the client as a thought leader in their industry. My objective was to optimize the WordPress platform for superior performance and speed, and to scale organic traffic to a level that would generate a steady stream of leads.

My Role: SEO Specialist & WordPress Developer

I took on the role of both SEO Specialist and WordPress Developer, creating the blog for espacioerp.com entirely from scratch with a focus on SEO from day one. My strategy was to build a robust foundation that would ensure long-term, sustainable growth. My work included:

Technical Optimization with Custom Code

I led the optimization of Core Web Vitals (CWV) with custom code, which is a key achievement given the site was built using Elementor. This technical work ensured the site was fast, responsive, and highly competitive in the search results.

Strategic Content & Keyword Planning

Before launching the site, I created a series of about 30 foundational articles. This allowed Google to index the site efficiently from the beginning and quickly capture the first organic visits. The keyword strategy followed a targeted approach: first, I identified and positioned the site for long-tail keywords, which built domain authority in the niche. This authority then enabled the site to rank for more competitive, high-volume keywords.

Evergreen Content Strategy

I designed and implemented a content strategy focused on “evergreen” articles that would continuously capture traffic and build authority over time.

Lead Generation with Custom Code

To maximize lead capture, I connected the site to Zoho CRM. The forms and banners used to obtain leads were implemented with custom code, ensuring maximum optimization and minimal performance impact.

The Results

The strategic and technical efforts yielded significant results. The blog’s organic traffic grew consistently, reaching 15,000 monthly visits. This success not only positioned the client as a thought leader in their industry but also generated a consistent flow of over 50 leads per month, demonstrating the direct business impact of the SEO strategy. The high Core Web Vitals scores, achieved through custom code, further proved the site’s technical excellence and competitive advantage.
